Our Installation Process

With over 1500 floors completed, we have perfected our installation process, ensuring you will receive the highest quality service. Jordan, our owner has been in the industry for 7 years and personally installs and inspects every floor to make sure every installation is perfect!

Step 1: Prep the surface

We begin every installation by grinding the concrete with our

500 lb. ASL Grinder with diamond impregnated bits. We grind

the surface of the concrete until it is completely white to ensure

the Polyurea coating permeates the concrete for best adhesion.

Step 2: Repair any imperfections

Once the surface is prepped, we assess the concrete to find any

cracks or imperfections in the concrete. We fill and level any

repairs made and hand grind the repair to make it appear

seamless.

Step 3: Vacuum the Surface

When all repairs are made, we vacuum the floor in 3 directions,

so, no dust is left behind. If this step is missed, the coatings will

not properly adhere to the concrete.

Step 4: Base Coat

Once the prep is completed, our installers begin laying the

Polyurea base coat (See Polyurea vs Epoxy article for more

information about Polyurea).

Step 5: Chip broadcast

Once the base coat is evenly layed across the surface, we

begin fully broadcasting your chosen flake. Polyurea coatings

allow for best chip adhesion. Once the chip is thrown, we

wait for the coating to cure for 1-3 hours.

Step 6: Scrape and Vacuum

Once fully cured, we begin scraping excess chip to ensure

the chip is evenly distributed and level. We vacuum any excess

chip to ensure our topcoat adheres to the chip best.

Step 7: Topcoat

The final step is laying down our Polyaspartic topcoat. Our

topcoat will make your floor shine! It is formulated to protect

your new floor from any having or UV damage. (Glass finish

and/or Silica added for slip resistance available for additional

charge.
